Launch of ACliMaTISE  

(Africa Climate MOOC and Tools for Innovative Sustainability Education)

 

Presenting a ground-breaking African Climate and SDG online education programme, targeting undergraduate students in African universities, to be initially implemented in 10 universities, set to reach an estimated 50,000 students in 2024 with plans for scalable expansion to 20 million higher education students.

Gaia Education is part of a delegation of project partners at COP28 in November/December 2023, to launch of our new ACliMaTISE project, in partnership with

Aclimatiza

ACliMaTISE is a pan-African, 12-week MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) programme for university students!

It will build undergraduate students' knowledge of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs-2030) and the challenges of Climate Change in the African context. 

Accompanying seminars and workshops will support the students to take action in their communities to support achievement of the SDGs and find strategies for adapting to and mitigating the effects of climate change on the continent.
